ICARE DU CINEMA, 2026 Film festival jury

International Aviation Film Festival
Tuesday 15 to Sunday 20 September 2026 in St Hilaire

Solène Rombourg

As an adventurer, paragliding instructor, and osteopath, I carve out a path outside the conventional lines, moving between mountains, expeditions, and bivouac flights. I explore autonomy and movement as spaces for both physical and internal discovery. Alongside this, I write and direct adventure films with a sensitive, poetic approach to the terrain, the body, and the living world projects where experience takes precedence over performance, and where every trajector y tells a story.

Anicet Leone

I completed a sports-study program in Barcelonnette focusing on mountain sports. Climbing and highlining eventually led me to BASE jumping.
With our collective, the Flying Frenchies, we create unconventional films in dizzying landscapes, imagining high-flying aerial stunts.
Additionally, spending three years at the Beaux-Arts school in Avignon expanded my artistic perspective across various creative fields.
Ultimately, I decided to join Le Lido circus school in Toulouse.
Today, I work in the performing arts as a clown and acrobat.

Marcial Sommer

Marcial Sommer is a Swiss filmmaker and photographer based in Thun, specialising in documentary and outdoor sports cinematography. He has directed and self-produced two feature documentaries on permaculture in Hawaii and on highlining which screened at festivals worldwide, and his highline short won Best Film at the Boulder Highline Film Festival 2024. A practising paraglider, highliner, and climber, he brings a first-person understanding of mountain and adventure sports to his work.
