Harisson, a 17-year-old Colombian, has had a genuine passion for birdwatching since he was very young. Together with his French friend, Mateo, he is a member of the ‘Bird Guardians’, a group of teenagers working to promote awareness and protection of birdlife in the aptly named ‘Land of Birds’. Home to nearly 2,000 species, this region has recently been attracting bird enthusiasts and observers from all over the world.
In a few days’ time, a major gathering of enthusiasts will take place, at which the two friends are due to present a film and a photo exhibition to the general public.
To capture their latest photographs, they set off to meet up with friends – fellow bird enthusiasts – who have successfully developed sustainable business models through their commitment to protecting biodiversity.
Combining a passion for wildlife with a model of global conservation, an inspiring vision for the future will emerge for an entire generation, on an international scale
