For over 50 years now, the Coupe Icare has been the most eagerly awaited event of the autumn season! What a feat for an event that manages to renew and innovate every year! Created in 1974 by a group of enthusiasts, the Coupe Icare welcomes over 90,000 spectators and thousands of pilots every year.
To discover in the skies of the Coupe Icare
Paragliding, hang-gliding, paramotoring, microlighting, hot-air ballooning and dirigible ballooning, skydiving, wingsuiting and paralpinism, aerobatics, kite flying, boomerang, aeromodelling, gliding and falconry.
6 days of immersion in the world of flying men & women
On the world-famous free-flight site of Saint-Hilaire - Lumbin in Chartreuse, between Grenoble and Chambéry in the French Alps.
An international event in which the pilots are the actors: fancy dress flying competition, aerial demonstrations, film festival, trade shows, second-hand markets, equipment tests, conferences, walking and flying, finesse competitions, etc.
- An end-of-season week for pilots: Icare Test, Icare du Cinéma, Icare Expo, Icare Conférences, etc.

44e Icare du Cinéma, c'est parti ! 🎬
Sur les 70 films inscrits, le Comité de sélection composé de 10 personnes a retenu 36 films pour la compétition de ce 44ème Icare du Cinéma.
Dans cette nouvelle édition on découvrira une sélection de courts et longs-métrages internationaux avec, pour la première fois dans l'histoire du Festival, plusieurs films d'animation qui ont retenu toute notre attention.
Qui remportera le Prix du Public cette année ?
La voix des spectateur·ices est essentielle aux Icare du Cinéma.
Rendez-vous au Déco Sud de St-Hilaire dès la 1ère séance, le mardi à 18h30, et viens prendre part au vote qui décernera le Prix du Public de cette 44e édition.
Comme l'an passé, deux séances seront accessibles aux personnes sourdes et malentendantes.
👉Mardi 17 sept. séance de 21h
👉Jeudi 18 sept. séance de 18h30
Cette année dans le chapiteau du Cinéma, des emplacements seront réservés aux personnes à mobilités réduites.
Le programme, l’annonce du jury, la carte blanche, la soirée de remise des prix… seront annoncés dans les jours à venir !

The 44th Icare du Cinéma is officially underway! 🎬
Out of 70 films submitted, the 10 member Selection Committee has chosen 36 films to compete in this 44th edition of the Icare du Cinéma.
In this new edition, you will discover a selection of international short and feature films, including for the first time in the Festival's history several animated films that truly caught our attention.
Who will win the Audience Award this year?
The audience's voice is essential to the Icare du Cinéma. Join us at the Déco Sud in St-Hilaire starting with the very first screening on Tuesday at 6:30 PM, and cast your vote to help decide the Audience Award for this 44th edition!
As last year, two screenings will be accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing:
👉 Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 9:00 PM
👉 Thursday, Sept. 18 at 6:30 PM
This year in the "Chapiteau du Cinéma", dedicated seating will be reserved for people with reduced mobility.
