For over 50 years now, the Coupe Icare has been the most eagerly awaited event of the autumn season! What a feat for an event that manages to renew and innovate every year! Created in 1974 by a group of enthusiasts, the Coupe Icare welcomes over 90,000 spectators and thousands of pilots every year.
To discover in the skies of the Coupe Icare
Paragliding, hang-gliding, paramotoring, microlighting, hot-air ballooning and dirigible ballooning, skydiving, wingsuiting and paralpinism, aerobatics, kite flying, boomerang, aeromodelling, gliding and falconry.
6 days of immersion in the world of flying men & women
On the world-famous free-flight site of Saint-Hilaire – Lumbin in Chartreuse, between Grenoble and Chambéry in the French Alps.
An international event in which the pilots are the actors: fancy dress flying competition, aerial demonstrations, film festival, trade shows, second-hand markets, equipment tests, conferences, walking and flying, finesse competitions, etc.

Vol en biplace « Entre femmes »🪂
Découvrez le vol libre aux côtés de femmes pilotes, dans un cadre de confiance et de partage. Les fonds récoltés seront intégralement reversés à Des Ailes Pour Tous, pour offrir des vols à visée thérapeutique à des femmes atteintes d’un cancer dans le cadre d’Octobre Rose 🎀
Icarnaval au féminin – Prix Sitt’elle🎭
Un prix pour mettre en lumière les pilotes féminines et leur créativité, encourager leur participation et casser les codes du mythique concours de déguisements aériens.
Conférence « Regards croisés »🎙️
Carole Leconte et Adeline Schmidt partageront leurs expériences, leur rapport à la peur et leur place dans un univers encore majoritairement masculin.

Women in Flight – Take Flight, Share, and Show Solidarity
At the Coupe Icare, several initiatives are putting women in the spotlight through flight, mentorship, and solidarity! ✨
“Among Women” Tandem Flight🪂
Discover free flight alongside female pilots in an atmosphere of trust and sharing. All proceeds will be donated to Des Ailes Pour Tous to provide therapeutic flights for women with cancer as part of Pink October. 🎀
Women’s Icarnaval – Sitt’elle Award🎭
An award to highlight female pilots and their creativity, encourage their participation, and break the mold of the legendary aerial costume contest.
“Regards croisés” Conference🎙️
Carole Leconte and Adeline Schmidt will share their experiences, their relationship with fear, and their place in a world that remains predominantly male.

Show Aérien – Biplan Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann 🛩️
Surnommé le « Stradivarius du ciel » pour ses qualités de vol exceptionnelles, le Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann est un véritable morceau d’histoire de l’aviation ✨
Cet avion allemand d’entraînement, dont le nom signifie « jeune homme » en référence aux jeunes élèves pilotes, a notamment été utilisé pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
Avec sa structure en tubes et toile, aujourd’hui remotorisé avec un Lycoming de 160 chevaux, il continue de faire vivre le charme des avions anciens dans le ciel de la Coupe Icare.

Air Show – Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann Biplane 🛩️
Nicknamed the “Stradivarius of the Skies” for its exceptional flight characteristics, the Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann is a true piece of aviation history ✨
This German training aircraft, whose name means “young man” in reference to the young student pilots, was notably used during World War II.
With its tube-and-cloth structure—now re-engined with a 160-horsepower Lycoming engine—it continues to bring the charm of vintage aircraft to life in the skies of the Coupe Icare.

Show Aérien – Biplan Raven avec Fanny Viallard 🛩️
À seulement 27 ans, Fanny Viallard, membre de l’équipe de France de voltige, affiche déjà un palmarès impressionnant !
🥇 Championne du monde junior en 2024, où elle était la seule femme de la compétition
🏆 5 fois championne de France en catégorie Unlimited
Originaire de Grenoble, Fanny a débuté la voltige à 17 ans. Aujourd’hui, elle est également pilote de ligne sur Boeing 737 et instructrice de voltige.
Pour cette deuxième démonstration à la Coupe Icare, elle sera aux commandes du Raven, un biplan de voltige construit par un amateur, réputé pour sa maniabilité. Il peut atteindre 320 km/h et supporter jusqu’à 6G positifs🔥

At just 27 years old, Fanny Viallard, a member of the French aerobatics team, already has an impressive list of achievements!
🥇 2024 Junior World Champion, where she was the only woman in the competition
🏆 5-time French champion in the Unlimited category
Originally from Grenoble, Fanny began aerobatics at age 17. Today, she is also a commercial pilot flying Boeing 737s and an aerobatics instructor.
For this second demonstration at the Coupe Icare, she will be at the controls of the Raven, an amateur-built aerobatic biplane renowned for its maneuverability. It can reach 320 km/h and withstand up to 6G positive🔥
