Mini-Wings

Mini-wing flying encompasses several disciplines of free flight characterized by wings that are smaller, faster, and more dynamic than those used in traditional paragliding.

During the Coupe Icare, several speed-flying and parakite demonstrations are scheduled:
- in waves from the North takeoff point during the Icarnaval event between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

- from the Dent de Crolles at the opening of Icarnaval (11 a.m.) and/or at the opening of the Icare Show (6 p.m.)

- via helicopter D-Bag drops, with a paragliding aerobatics demonstration, between 12 p.m. and 12:45 p.m.

All events are visible from Saint-Hilaire and from the Lumbin landing site.
The program and schedule are subject to change depending on weather conditions and the Flight Control Center.

Please note :

To fly during the Coupe Icare, you must have Third-Party Air Insurance that covers you for a minimum of 1 million euros (€1,000,000).

Examples of accepted insurance providers : FFVL, FFPLUM, Federación Aérea Madrileña, Federacio Aero Catalana, Federacio Baleares, SHV, FSVL, AIF, Versicherungen Makelburo Thomas Schaub, FIVL, Hungary FFA, NZHGPA, HACP, ACVL, Planeta Volo

Not valid: Home, Car, Travel, or Health insurance, as well as any insurance policy providing less than 1 million euros in coverage.
