Icare Test

Two days for paraglider pilots to test equipment in flight.

Come and meet the manufacturers before the opening of the Icare Expo trade show!
A prime opportunity to chat and test gear during a flight: paraglider wings, harnesses, or flight instruments.

Tuesday, September 15 and Wednesday, September 16, 2026, in St Hilaire from 9:30 AM
Takeoff location: Déco sud (D3) - St Hilaire
Landing zone: Atterro (A1) - Lumbin

Number of pilots: 200

IMPORTANT - Icare Test Pilots

To participate in the Icare Test activity, you must be registered and have had your registration approved by the activity coordinator. Participation fee: €25 for 2 days (payable on site at the Icare Test info desk at Déco Sud) Deposit: €2,000 (credit card authorization)

Please note

To fly during the Coupe Icare, you must have Third-Party Air Insurance that covers you for a minimum of 1 million euros (€1,000,000). Examples of accepted insurance providers: FFVL, FFPLUM, Federación Aérea Madrileña, Federacio Aero Catalana, Federacio Baleares, SHV, FSVL, AIF, Versicherungen Makelburo Thomas Schaub, FIVL, Hungary FFA, NZHGPA, HACP, ACVL, Planeta Volo Not valid: Home, Car, Travel, or Health insurance, as well as any insurance policy providing less than 1 million euros in coverage.
