Safety = respect for priorities. We are all concerned.
Flights will be interrupted by the Flight Director if necessary.
Before any flight, consult the "pilot information" and stick on your helmet the sticker "pilot information : OK!
From Tuesday 20 to Friday 23, the sites will be open to recreational pilots according to the program below.
If necessary and as an exception, the South take-off (D3) and the aerobatic box can be reserved on Friday from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm for the training of aerobatic pilots invited by the Organization.
All hang gliding and paragliding take offs are closed from 9am on Saturday and Sunday.
The airspace is reserved only for the presentations described in the framework of the air show.
In accordance with the decree of November 10, 2021, all teaching activities are forbidden on Saturday and Sunday, as well as on Thursday and Friday from 10:00 a.m.
All take-offs outside the official sites (D1-D5 and ULM, PA) are strictly prohibited.
On Friday, Saturday until 9:00 a.m. and after 6:00 p.m. as well as on Sunday, until 9:00 a.m. recreational flights are allowed. Thank you for respecting the 150m safety zone around the hot air balloons.
It is forbidden to fly over take-offs, the public and inhabited areas.
All landings on the Plateau des Petites Roches are strictly forbidden to hang gliders and paragliders.
Hang gliders and paragliders must not penetrate the airspace reserved for microlights, PULMA and helicopters. For hang gliders, the "La Sapinière" take off will not be accessible and hang gliders are invited to take off from D3 (South take off).
ULM and PULMA must use exclusively their reserved fields (ULM, PA).
Disguised pilots are considered as priority.
Radio frequencies 144 to 146 MHz are forbidden. The FFVL frequency 143.9875 MHz is reserved for pilots in difficulty, general safety and rescue.
Helicopter rescue is signaled by sound alarms, banners deployed on the ground forming an "X" and also smoke bombs.
A paramotor cart and a pendulum will also "sweep" the area by emitting an audible signal.
The pilots will have to clear the airspace.
