The Coupe Icare is going green and looking at its carbon footprint. How can such an event be a model of management that is entirely respectful of the environment?
This is not a new issue for the team, and for a long time now waste has been sorted, cups have been reused and the question of transport is constantly being improved: shuttle buses, cycle routes, etc.
We have set our sights on 2024 carbon footprint in order to find new ways forward.
At the same time, we're looking at the values that our event should embody, and you'll no doubt be asked to help us refine our perception.
The Coupe Icare is, and must remain, the great celebration of free flight that brings the season to a close. Let's work together to make it more virtuous, while meeting the expectations of the world of free flight (pilots and professionals), the local population and the general public.
