Lukas has a unique motivation to climb the 7 Summits of the Alps. Reaching the summit is only one part of the goal – setting up and walking across a slackline close to the mountaintop. The journey starts on top of Germany at the Zugspitze and leads Lukas and his team from France to Slovenia. The highest peaks of the alpine countries hold great potential for spectacular highline but quickly turn out to be a real challenge for Lukas’s developing skills as an alpinist.

Des Ailes Pour Tous is a project run by the Duck and the DIEM du Chevalon (APF France handicap) which came into being in 2023. It enabled 13 disabled young people to discover the world of paragliding and, for some, to experience flying for themselves.

Benjamin Védrines and Nicolas Jean are tackling their first 8000m summit, Broad Peak in Pakistan. Their aim is to dispense with the usual high-altitude camps and climb from base camp to summit in a one-day ‘one-push’ expedition. The icing on the cake for Benjamin would be to beat the record for the fastest ascent of any 8000-metre peak, and to take off from the summit in a paraglider! But on the 8000, even more than elsewhere in the mountains, things don’t always go according to plan…
