AERIAL PROGRAM OF THE 44th COUPE ICARE


THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 21st, 2017

No official aero show ; the sky is open to leisure flying.

The flying sites are freely accessible: the take-off areas are open from 9am to 5:30pm for hang glider pilots and paraglider pilots, and supervised by the on- ground team of the organization.

The south take-off will be closed to pilots from 1:30pm to 4pm, during paragliding aerobatics training.


All take-offs will also be closed from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, during reconnaissance or training flights (vintage planes, sailplanes, Jetman, French Air Force Aerobatics Team)

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER, 22nd, 2017

SATURDAY & SUNDAY, 23th and 24th, SEPTEMBER

Starting at 9am, all paraglider and hang glider take-off sites will be closed.

The sky is reserved for presentations and demonstrations of all types: free flight, kite, aeromodelling, paramotors and other ultra-light motorized aircraft demo flights, first flight opportunities by ultra-light and helicopter…

After 4pm, the sky will be completely closed and will be reserved for motorized aircraft demonstrations.

After 6pm, the sky reopens for all to exploit

SATURDAY 23 SEPTEMBER and SUNDAY 24 SEPTEMBER

7am to 9am Hot air balloons (A2 or A1) + radio-controlled hot air balloons
9am to 11am Mini-hot air balloons (D2)
9am to 12am and 2pm to 6pm Paramotors and other ultra-light motorized aircrafts demo flights (P1)
9am to 1:30pm Flight 1807 (D4 / landing from St Nazaire les Eymes)
9am to 4pm Ulyra-light aircraft flights and first flight (U1) - Kite and aeromodelling coordination (M1)
Helicopter : flight for press and VIP/First flight for visitors (H1)
10am to 11am Icarobatix : Paramotors (A1) : demonstration of competition flights
11am to 12 am/SATURDAY Paraglider : Group flights (St Hilaire : on top of ski slopes / A2 or A1)
11am to 4pm Costume Contest : hang glider and paraglidr pilots costume flights (D1 / A1)
12am to 2pm/SATURDAY Aerobatic paragliding (D2/A2 or A1) and drop from helicopters (P1)
12am to 2pm/SUNDAY Paramotor demonstration in front of the south take-off (P1)
2pm to 3pm Paraglider manufacturers demonstration (D2/ A2 ou A1)
3pm to 4pm/SATURDAY Hang glider and swift parade (D2 / A2 or A1)
3pm to 4:15pm/SUNDAY      Hang glider and swift parade (D2 / A2 or A1))
4pm to 4:15pm /SATURDAY Helicopter demo by the Civil Protection (A1)
4pm to 4:15pm /SATURDAY Paramotor and other ultra-light motorized aircrafts demo flights (P1)
