ICARE ECO
Icarenbus, car pooling, trash sorting, glasses on deposit, ecology workshops, Coupe Icare grocery bags… the Coupe Icare pursues its campaign to limit the impact of this great event on the environment.
TRASH : limit and sort it!
Let’s limit trash by using “gobelets on deposit” designed with the colours of the Coupe. Your 1€ deposit is returned - unless of course you want to take the gobelet home!
And let’s sort trash … It’s easy, thanks to selective bins put in strategic places all over the grounds by the Aremacs association.
Both operations are funded by the Rhône Alpes Region.
ICARENBUS
For transport from landing zone to launch site, think of using the Icarenbus free shuttle service.
For pilots : 4 buses will provide shuttle service from Thursday to Sunday between Lumbin and St Hilaire
For the public: 8 buses will provide shuttle service from Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 to 19:00, between:
- La Terrasse/Lumbin, La Terrasse/St Hilaire, Lumbin/St Hilaire, St Hilaire/Lumbin
- in St Hilaire shuttles reserved for bracelet holders
- A service funded by the Communauté de Communes of the Grésivaudan.
All parking lots in St Hilaire, Lumbin and La Terrasse are free.

Concerts end at 1:00 am! Afterwards, please be respectful of those who have turned in earlier.
Every year measures are taken by the organizers to try to limit the after-hours noise and nuisance for everyone’s benefit.

Assisting the Coupe Icare.org association, there are 30 partnering associations making for over 900 volunteers who participate in the elaboration of this event! A thousand thanks to all of them for their generous time, energy, enthusiasm and smiles.
